Fotona Nightlase Snoring and Sleep Apnea Treatment Review Malaysia 2019

Fotona NightLase snoring therapy is a patient-friendly laser treatment to effectively cure snoring. Fotona NightLase can reduce the effects of and decrease the amplitude of snoring by means of a gentle laser treatment of the mucosa tissue.

Fotona Nightlase Snoring Treatment is a non-invasive solution to quality sleep without the risk of surgery nor the hassle of sleep devices.

Simple, Safe and Effective

Fotona’s patented laser modality optimizes the length of laser pulses, allowing for the safe penetration of heat into the oral mucosa tissue. It is gentle enough to be used on the sensitive tissue inside the mouth, but strong enough to provide clinically efficacious heating.

Fotona NightLase has a high success rate in producing a positive change in sleep patterns. Research has shown that NightLase can reduce and attenuate snoring and provides an effective, non-invasive way to lessen the effects of snoring.

A Patient Friendly Solution

A full course of NightLase consists of three separate treatment sessions over a two month period. The final results of the treatment have been shown to last up to a year, and the therapy can be repeated.

Patients find NightLase to be a highly comfortable and satisfying solution. NightLase requires no device to be worn during sleep and involves no chemical treatment. It’s a gentle and easy way for your patients to regain a good night’s rest.

The following dual-wavelength laser system from Fotona is ideal for NightLase® as well as other facial aesthetic treatments:
The diagram shown above depicts airway size. The closer the soft palate gets to the tongue, the smaller the airway and the greater potential for snoring. It can also be used to predict whether a patient might have obstructive sleep apnea. A Class III or IV result means that it is simply easier for the patient’s airway to be blocked by tissue when they sleep, resulting in obstructive sleep apnea.

A class I airway is much more beneficial than class IV airway, for example. The goal of Fotona Nightlase snoring treatment is to increase airway size and decrease tissue turbulence. Going from a class IV to III, or from a class III to I would be considered successful treatment.
